Terrible customer service, inferior products.
Honestly, my experience with this company could not have been worse. I don’t know how their company is still in business. I bought three items from their store directly- a cast iron fry pan, dutch oven and a regular pot (all less than 6 weeks old when I contacted Le Creuset customer service). The Dutch oven and pot are average at best and the cast iron fry pan is the WORST pan I have ever had the dissatisfaction of using- everything sticks to it, even on the lowest heat settings and even when following the directions exactly with large amounts of butter and oil. Everything sticks so badly that the food is totally ruined and then it takes days (yes, days) to clean- having to soak the pan so remove all the burnt on food. If this were not bad enough, their customer service is appalling. They take an upwards of 10 days to respond to email and NEVER answer the phone even during their supposed regular business hours. When they finally respond to the email they have repeatedly said that they do not offer store credit or refunds of any of their products (lifetime warranty? What a joke but not funny). They said they could give me another replacement pan, ignoring the fact that I have repeatedly told them that I do not want a replacement pan because the pan sucks and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
I am fully convinced that all of their good reviews are bought and paid for. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time and avoid dealing with this company at all costs. I bought two replacement pans at Ross for a fraction of the cost that work infinitely better.
If I could give 0 or minus stars I would. Trust me there are so many unbelievable issues that I have had with this company that I cannot even explain my terrible situation within this one review. My experience with this company was horrible on so many levels. If you ever want to purchase something please I warn you purchase directly from the store because if you order online you will have problems from beginning to end. Take my advice or good luck !!!!

Order 00271406. The original shipment was delivered shattered. Which was unfortunate because my mom opened this on Christmas morning and since it was shipped directly to her by Le Creuset we were not aware until this time. It took a week to get a response from customer service regarding the damaged shipment. At which time they approved shipping a replacement to my mom. Unfortunately whoever processed the replacement has a low double digit IQ and doesn’t know the difference between a shipping or billing address. They shipped the replacement to the billing address, a thousand miles away from the shipping address that was on the order. It was supposed to go to my mom in Arizona just like when I originally placed the order. They did not provide tracking even when I asked for it and took their sweet time to ship it so it took 2 weeks to be delivered... to the wrong address ... in the wrong state. I immediately contacted customer service yet again but unfortunately it seems that no one actually works at Le Creuset. It has been a week since my new contact and still no response to their shipping mistake. I am giving them until Friday to get off their butts, check their email and do their job. Then if nothing still hasn’t been resolved I will be contacting my credit card company and letting them know about their shipping error, failure to respond and correct their mistakes and just request a chargeback instead. I have over 50 Le Creuset items and have purchased at least a dozen as gifts but they have permanently lost a customer now. I’ve had it with this disrespect.
Update: I filed a dispute with my credit card and 3 weeks later a Le Creuset customer service rep finally got back to me only to tell me the color dishes I purchased that arrived shattered and then they reshipped to the wrong address were now out of stock and they would not ship a different color as a replacement. It took 8 weeks total to get to this point with their extremely slow responses, only to be dismissed. My mom never got her Christmas present and I will never buy from Le Creuset again.
had one of the pans crack and leak hot water all over luckily no one was burnt could have been bad. sent us a replacement pan used it twice was sautéing onions and hamburger for chili and pan cracked. they are telling me we are misusing the pan by using it stove top and aren't going to do anything for us. now I purchased it from qvc and they are always demonstrating it both on stove top and oven up to 500 degrees should not be cracking

We bought a Le creuset pan a few years ago but lost the receipt. That was no problem for the customer service after explaining our problem and sending a lot of pictures they send us a new pan.

Just like everyone else, Le Creuset's support is simply the worst! I placed an order 2 weeks ago and the status hasn't changed. Have been on hold with support for 2 hours and I'm only halfway through the waitlist. I ordered from them previously and had a somewhat decent experience, but based on the reviews, that must have really been an exception. I love their products, but if I ever buy any Le Creuset product again, it'll be through a retailer.

Unfortunately a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. Returns are not being processed. They make it as difficult as possible to get you the return label to begin with. Then, after you finally receive it after several calls and then return your item, they will keep quiet after they received it. They do not respond to any inquiries via email. This appears to be a company that does not want to refund you the money, although they are contractually and legally obliged.
We received a 20cm LC Casserole 7 years ago as a gift. We used it for slow-cooked curry once every 2~3 months. Recently, the enamel surface at the centre started to peel off.
The CS first replied that the damage was due to "overheating", which is not covered by the life time warranty. I explained that the pot was only used for slow-cooked curries (low-medium heat over an electric stove), how hot can it be for a pot?
The second email then stated that "Overheating can still occur when using low to medium heats if the pan does not contain enough food as the Cast Iron will continually build on heat, this can be difficult for some consumers to understand".
I have 4 in my family, I am not sure if 3/4 full considered as "enough food" or not. It is interesting to found out that these Casseroles have a minimum food quantity requirement per cooking.
The conclusion was that it's never the product's fault.
I have had the same horrible customer service experience as many others who have written here. Hold times are an hour and then the person answering the call can't really do anything. I'm waiting on a refund for a broken item and was told there is just 1 person doing refunds and she can only do so many per day. Yet they have a huge sale but without the infrastructure to support it. AND their products are packed very badly so there is often damage during shipping. I don't know what is wrong with them that they cannot staff properly but this company should be ashamed of themselves.
I have emailed them over six times regarding a dent in a stockpot I had delivered to my house. I have yet to receive an email on exchanging the pot for a new one. For such 'high quality' cookware, I would think they would have awesome customer service! I am extremely disappointed with this company. My next step is calling them tomorrow, non stop till this is fixed.
I’d give negative ten stars if I could. The worst worst customer service of all time, it’s shocking. Useless website, useless staff. The website told me my order couldn’t be completed when I placed the order. After I finally got the order placed I was charged twice with two duplicate order and both order went through.
I emailed but received no response, I then called the customer service or cancel one of the orders. The agent clearly told me it was successfully canceled, I even asked a second time to make sure, yet weeks after the package still got to my door. With all the patience I called the customer service again, asking for a return label, after being told the ‘label’ was sent to my email, I checked the email and only see an ‘Return Authorization’ and I was asked to pay for the shipping, even if it was their fault. The best customer I can be, I paid the shipping myself. The tracking showed the package arrived a month ago and I still didn’t receive any response or refund at this point. I sent 10+ emails, called so many times, waited 40min+ to speak to their useless irresponsible agents. I ended up even comment under their instagram post requesting customer service, guess what? They Liked all the other comments saying ‘so pretty’ ‘so nice’ and just ignored my comment, ignored again. SHOCKING!
Really, stay away from this company. Any shopping shouldn’t be this hard. If their cared, any customer shouldn’t be trying this hard, waste so much time, and get so much frustration. It’s a shame.
